The Spring Edit: Everything On Our Wishlist
I hope I’m not jumping the gun here, but I was feeling the urge to pull together my Spring wardrobe wishlist. Perhaps it’s the plethora of Spring-themed PR emails in my inbox or the fact that NYFW just came and went, but I’m feeling the promise of warmer days in the air. It’s like the flower buds are already vibrating under the soil, putting a bit of a pep in my step as I march over the still frostbitten concrete. And while some rely on a little groundhog to predict the arrival of greenery, I like to look at brands releasing their Spring 2025 collections to determine whether it’s going to be a good, a warm, and early Spring or not. The verdict? It’s looking very promising, y’all.
The nice thing about these transitional seasons (Spring & Fall) is that the styling options are endless. You neither have to cover your entire body in a big puffer just to stay warm nor do you want to wear nothing but a bikini to ward off the heat. ‘Tis the season of midi skirts with blazers, trousers with tank tops, and shorts with a polo. As I browsed through the Spring catalogs of all my favorite brands, I noticed a couple of key themes that we’ll be seeing lots of this coming season. Like she-suits, touches of pink and blue, and a shift towards more fitted outerwear, as opposed to loose and oversized. I can hardly contain myself at the prospect of being rid of these frigid temperatures, and the thought that these cute tops, bottoms, and outerwear await on the other side just feels like a warm hug. So without further ado, join me as I stock up my Spring wardrobe with the following cute pieces.
