Y’all I am so excited — the Holidays are around the corner! As a certified summer girl, I don’t really enjoy the cold days. The Holidays are about the only thing that gets me excited and pumped about this season, so you bet I’m going ham the next five weeks. I’ve made an attempt at romanticizing winter, making checklists for January and finding ways to dress chic despite the cold. Nothing, however, gets me as excited as freshly baked goods, blasting Christmas music, and getting glammed up for holiday parties.
Speaking of getting your glam on, I thought I’d do us a service and organize everything you need to get the perfect makeup look for the holidays. Whether you’re going for a bold red lip, a cold girl glow, or a sparkly highlighter-galore look, I’ve got every piece of beauty item you need, below. This way, when the Christmas invitations start to roll in, you already have everything in your vanity prepped to make you look like a snow queen. For Your Lips
Let’s get playful with the lips, shall we? I’m including two classic reds — The Merit option is more lightweight and can be worn a little casually, while the Bobbi Brown has that classic, deeply opaque rouge that simply pops. Glossier’s cheeky soft pink keeps things playful, while Chanel’s wine red looks seductive and mature.
For The Glow
What is it about winter and highlighter that works so well together? It’s like I can’t dab enough glitter on my cheeks, nose, and eyelids — I’m not satisfied until I sparkle like fresh snow on a snowman.
