Standout Moments from COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK
Copenhagen Fashion Week has always stood out to me over the other, more notable fashion weeks like New York and Paris. Although not as popular as the latter two, it far outperforms the mega-fashion hotspots in creativity. Maybe I’m biased, because minimalist Scandi fashion is some of my favorite. But while New York, London, Paris, and Milan prove what tried and true brands can whip up for their 80th season in a row, Copenhagen brings fresh blood to the stage, showcasing how the new age interprets fashion.
This year, 46 brands showcased their Spring/Summer ‘25 collection to editors and influencers during a five day schedule. While notable Danish designer Ganni remains absent from the lineup and Scandi brand Acne Studios (for reasons unbeknownst to me) chooses to showcase in Paris instead of Copenhagen, there were still some notable brands like Skall Studio, OpéraSPORT, and The Garment returning to the runway with an exciting collection. Now that the first city has completed its kick off for the fashion weeks to follow, I figured it’s time to roundup the most notable looks and key takeaways before we continue with the fashion week marathon.

The Garment and Mark Kenly Domino Tan prove that corporate girly fashion is still very much in, but with a soft, etherial (think sheer blazers and pencil skirts) touch to it. Almost dream-like garments draped, nay, floated over the bodies of women. And although no single piece felt innately body-hugging, revealing, or short, there was an undeniable femininity and softness to the pieces gracing down the runway. Meanwhile, Baum und Pferdgarten wants us to know that sport-luxe is staying past the Olympics and can absolutely be worn to the office as well. And of course, Skall Studio reminds us that the Danish do minimalism for strong and independent women the best. See our favorite looks for the week, below.
