August is here, or as others know it, the beginning of the end of summer. If you know me, you know I hold onto Summer like a rock climber hanging off a cliff. I’m not a winter baby, but even I can admit that seeing all the fall drops from brands is getting me excited to pick out a new wool coat (or leather biker jacket?). I’m not too stubborn to see that fall fashion reigns as the best fashion has to offer, so although the sliding temperatures trigger some sadness in me, a cute cashmere scarf, a stylish new boot, and a soft-knit cardigan helps to put a bandaid over it.
This season, Miu Miu continues to lead the scene with tasteful fall must-haves. I’m trying to keep this article from being a fully-fledged Miu Miu feature, so I’m leaving out the Poplin Pajama Pants and Aventure bag in the roundup below. But please, check out their entire fall winter collection and try not to add everything into cart. Although I was more adventurous in the summer — playing around with prints and colors — autumn has me seeking comfort in the browns and maroons again. And because it is still summer and you can squeeze in another beach day or rooftop drink, I’m linking a few summery dresses and chiffon tops to go enjoy the red sun in.
