The Best Destinations FOR SOLO TRAVEL
Have you been flirting with the idea of solo travel? I truly have nothing but great things to say about it. Aside from not having to compromise your travel plans, solo travel allows you to have all your senses fully concentrated on the sights, smells, and sounds around you. It’s an opportunity to relationship build with yourself (the most important relationship you’ll carry throughout your life, might I add), and completely move at your own pace. In my lifetime, I must have been to over 40 cities by myself, and I credit a lot of my confidence and self love to these experiences. There’s just nothing like waking up to a beautiful view, brewing a hot cup of coffee, and journaling in the morning sun before strolling through a town you’ve never seen before. There’s no haste in your feet, and no limitations to the mind. You’re fully there to all the inspiration pouring into your soul, and it feels glorious.
So, now that I’ve convinced you to go solo, you’re wondering where to? The honest answer is, I haven’t been to a city where solo travel was even remotely uncomfortable. BUT, there are some cities I visited twice and had more fun going with a friend or a partner than alone (like Bali). So, the following cities are great cities to visit alone if this is your first time booking it solo.
